News Tet is over and the year of the Water Dragon has started. To all of you who have supported our mission to Vietnamese children by your prayers, sharing with others our work, and your financial support, we are very grateful. With Tet coming so early, January was a short month for us. Our bookkeepers were more busy than usual as they had to prepare monthly and annual donation receipts; then they had to finish year end summary so that I could prepare for our state corporation reports and complete IRS forms. The rest of the staff members were busy giving out monthly stipends to nearly 300 children plus all the Tet and other extra gifts. Below are only a few of the many gifts given. Many gifts were mailed to us for the children while others sent money to buy gifts. | Sponsors Needed Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors. To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang. Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc. PLEASE HELP Share your love and faith These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them. |
